WARNING: Little Beaver Lake may be the most underrated spots in Central Alberta. It's very pretty, the location is tremendous (Just down the road from Camrose), and yet it's close enough to Buffalo lake that the city folk are going to just keep driving, meaning... the locals get their run of the place! This is a dynamite home, call me a sucker for a walkout, but go stand on that covered deck overlooking the lake and countryside and tell me I'm wrong. Ultra healthy in space at 1280 square feet on the main floor and that again in the downstairs walkout, the main floor is open and the island is large enough to get stranded on and start your own tribe. The cabinetry is very well done and the showcase cabinets atop the main bank lend the space a real stateliness. Maybe the most impressive thing about this character home are the almost ten foot ceilings in the main part of the house. Talk about giving a place stature, that added height makes the main floor feel spacious and grand. The big windows also help with that, partly because of the wonderful daylight it lets in, but also because those windows overlook the big corner lot it sits on, 50X140'! Main floor laundry, four piece bathroom (With a five panel door - so classic!) an access through the kitchen to the back deck makes for easy barbecuing, and the fenced backyard is prime for the puppies and the ankle biters. Single detached garage to keep the car fresh because brushing snow is for the birds. Lastly, the furnace and water heater live down in the crawl space so you're not eating up any of your 1010 square feet of main floor living space with them. If highway 2 is the spine of Alberta, that makes Clive the heart, ten minutes from Lacombe, which has all the amenities, and a half hour from Red Deer for when you want a change of scenery.
