Isn't it amazing how vaulted ceilings make a home so grand? This one has a fantastic great room that is the focus of the house and is where the kitchen resides. This is going to sound oddly specific, but, are you a single parent? Let me introduce you to the absolute best location in town for someone raising kids. Samwiched between two churches, across the street from the town office, one block from Main Street and in the other direction, a block from the school and tennis courts. Two blocks from the library/community centre, and three blocks from the arena and the RCMP detachment. This home is adorable, it adorns art-deco features that the better homes of the 50's were blessed with. It got a new roof last year, and the main floor was recently updated. The original bathroom left a little to be desired in terms of space so the owner converted a bedroom on the main floor into the bathroom and now there's tons of room to get ready or scroll instagram in peace. Or bath I guess. Downstairs there is a great big bedroom with a neat mantle that looks like it was set up for a gas fireplace at one time and I think that because there is a gas line on the other side of the wall. The basement smells good which can be a concern in an older home and I sure don't get the impression that there is any moisture down there.
